It appears you might be able to fight city hall after all.

That's what hundreds of Sugarhouse residents are hoping, after they filled the Salt Lake City Council chambers, Tuesday night, to protest a plan to construct a streetcar rail line, along 11th East.

Many told council members the area already has a unique flare and doesn't need a streetcar to inhance that reputation.

The city council will now reconsider a second option: to extend the streetcar line east -- on 21st South -- past Sugarhouse Park.
