Heather's dad, Ralph, was diagnosed with leukemia in 2012 that left him unable to walk. So when Heather started planning her wedding she knew that he would not be able to walk her down the aisle. Ralph had a plan and without telling anyone in the family he started relearning to walk. After months of rehabilitation Ralph walked Heather down the aisle. They even shared a father/daughter dance at the reception!
