(Lehi) – 5-year-old AJ has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma and has spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital. She was recently scheduled to be released from the hospital on her birthday and a group of neighbors wanted to give AJ something special for her 5th birthday (July 17). They donated thousands of dollars in supplies and volunteered numerous hours building a playhouse. They surprised AJ with the playhouse when she returned home from the hospital. They hope that the playhouse gives AJ a way to get away from everything she is dealing with and gives her the chance to just be a kid.
