(Chicago) - Jahmal posted on social media to ask for 10 volunteers to come out and help shovel snow for seniors in the area. Over 100 volunteers showed up! The group shoveled sidewalks at more than 50 addresses.
Jahmal runs a non-profit organization called "My Block, My Hood, My City" that helps teenagers overcome poverty by providing activites focused on arts, culture, and community service. People who do not live in the Chicago area who saw the post reached out to ask how they could help.
