A librarian in Virginia has thought of a creative way to keep kids reading, even though Covid-19 has closed libraries. Drones will deliver books straight to their door!
Kelly Passek is a middle school librarian. A company called Wing, launched a pilot project in her hometown and has been delivering meals and household products. She quickly realized the technology could benefit the kids in her district.
The company will start delivering books to students this week. The services will be available to about 600 students.
