School Districts Offering Free Meals This Summer

One in eight Utah children struggles with hunger, according to Feeding America. That’s an even bigger issue over summer break. Some Utah school districts will be offering free summer school lunch programs.

Cache County School District: Free meals will be served to children ages 18 and younger Monday through Friday from June 7 to July 16. 

White Pine and Lewiston Elementary Schools from 11:30am-12:30pm

Birch Creek, Cedar Ridge, Nibley, and Lincoln Elementary Schools from 11:15am-12:30pm

Grand County School District: Breakfast and lunch will be offered for free to all children 18 and under at Helen M. Knight Elementary School.

Jordan School District: Lunch will be offered for free to everyone 18 years old and under at 6 elementary schools.

Murray City School District: Breakfast and lunch will be offered Monday - Friday from June 1 through July 30 at 9 schools and 3 apartment complexes.
