#GoodNews: 3,000 People Gather to Honor A Stranger

(Michigan) 67-year-old Vietnam veteran Wayne Lee Wilson passed away without any surviving family members. His funeral service was shaping up to be a small memorial ceremony with just 10 of his close friends. One of the mortuary’s interns, wanted to get more people there to honor Wayne, so he put the word out that anyone who could come was welcome. Over 3,000 people showed up, and not just from Michigan. People came from Iowa, Tennessee, Indiana, and Florida to pay their respects. Full story.
