A group of Philadelphia pals launched a fundraiser to pay local restaurants to feed health care workers amid the coronavirus outbreak. Cole Berman and 5 of his friends launched a page called “Fuel the Fight” last week. They wanted to help workers in both the health care and restaurant industries who have been particularly hard-hit by the pandemic. 100% of the money raised buys meals from area restaurants and they deliver the food to local hospitals.
The campaign has raised over $41-thousand so far to both support local restaurants and feed local healthcare workers.
