#GoodNews: Pianist Plays For The First Time in 20 Years With Bionic Gloves

80-year old João Carlos Martins is an acclaimed classical pianist and conductor from Brazil. After a number of health issues, injuries and operations, he found himself unable to play the instrument he had studied since he was 8 years old.

His limitations had forced him to work mostly as a conductor since the early 2000s.

But thanks to a pair of bionic gloves, Martins is finally able to perform again.

In a recent video posted to Instagram, he can be seen fighting back tears as he plays with both hands for the first time in 20 years.
