Cheryl and Linda met more than 30 years ago when they both worked for a Connecticut hospital. They became friends through that job, but lost contact when Linda moved away.
When Cheryl’s husband gave her an ancestry DNA kit as a gift and she matched with a woman named Linda Rinaldi, she immediately recognized the name. Further DNA testing confirmed that the two women are half-sisters born 16 months apart.
The sisters are looking forward to making up for lost time.
