A group of volunteers in Salt Lake City have spent weeks designing and building custom Halloween costumes for kids with physical differences.
For kids who need a wheelchair or walker to get around, it can be especially difficult to find the right costume. So every Halloween, volunteers at Shriners Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake work with kids with physical differences to create custom costumes that fit around their wheelchair or walker.
Director of Marketing and Communications for Shriners Dawn Wright, says they’re helping more than 40 children this Halloween get to be whatever they want.
