What Really Happened with United vs. Leggings

Twitter went crazy on Sunday over a tweet from a woman who says Untied Airlines was blocking girls from flying over their attire.  They were wearing leggings. The woman tweeted the girls were being asked to change or put a dress on over their leggings or they couldn't board. 

Here's what you need to know.  Those girls were "pass travelers"  which means they were traveling as relatives of a United employee and therefore, are subject to a stricter dress code.  After researching here's what we found:
