A West Jordan man has been making wooden toy cars for needy kids for 15 years, and now says he may have to shut down because he can’t afford the rent on the space he’s using. 82-year old Alton Thacker runs Tiny Tim’s Toy Factory and his cars have been handed out to kids local and around the world. His employees are all volunteers and all the materials used are donated. The factory makes 85,000 toy cars a year and they’re shipped across the country and around the world. Many children at Primary Children’s Hospital receive the cars.
