(Michigan) - Dan goes to his local Starbucks every Thursday with a long list and orders 12-24 drinks. Then he takes the coffee to chemotherapy patients in hopes of brightening up their day.
The tradition started when Dan’s father Edgar was undergoing chemo at the local hospital. Dan wanted to do something nice for those in treatment and started taking the orders of other patients when running out to get his Dad’s coffee. Right before Edgar lost his battle with cancer he made Dan promise to keep the tradition going.
A Facebook page was created called ‘Dan’s Coffee Run’ to help cover the cost of the coffee.
