(Syracuse, UT) When Hunter was just 11 months old, his parents had to make the decision to amputate both of his legs due to a birth defect. A few months later he got his first pair of prosthetics and started walking and running and eventually playing sports. He found a passion for running and started running 5’K’s for fun, then joined the track team in junior high. Fast forward to his senior year. Hunter's resume holds two Paralympic medals and both the 200 and 400 meter state records.
Woodhall also became the first double-amputee to earn a NCAA Division 1 scholarship in track and field when he signed to run for the University of Arkansas in early May.
