(Ogden) - Members of the Washington Heights Church spent the end of June participating in community service week. More than 750 volunteers painted the exterior of 19 homes in Ogden.
The homes that were picked for the service project were selected through an application process and recipients were not members of the church’s congregation. The church budgeted $35,000 for supplies to paint the homes and even let the recipients pick out the colors they wanted their homes to be painted.
