The president of the University of Southern Mississippi, Rodney Bennett, is donating the raise he just got to a scholarship fund. He was recently given a $72,630 increase to put him in line with other university presidents in the area. Rodney says that other people have been laid off or gone without raises so rather than pocket the money he’s using it to help students!
