(Alabama) - 15-year-old Kenneth had been saving up money to take his girlfriend to dinner. Unfortunately, earlier this month his family’s house caught fire. While the firefighters were fighting the flames Kenneth noticed their drinking water cooler was running low.
He went to the nearest gas station and spent all of the money he had been saving to buy water for the firefighters. Kenneth’s mom mentioned what her son did on Facebook. His story started to spread through the community and they stepped up to help. People donated new clothes for Kenneth, a limo ride, and a free meal at a restaurant for him and his girlfriend.
