In 2016, former Olympic high jumper Jamie Nieto was paralyzed when he misjudged a backflip and landed on his head. Although doctors told him that he would probably never walk again he knew that he was going to do everything possible so he could. He wanted to walk down the aisle at his upcoming wedding.
This weekend, Jamie took about 130 steps all on his own at his wedding. He even walked with his bride Shevon out of the church.
