A former British Royal Marine is selling his war medals to help cover the cost of a little girl’s cancer treatment. Lottie Woods-John was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma last year when she was just two-years-old and she needs an innovative vaccine treatment only available in the U.S. that costs $256,000.
Veteran Matthew Goodman has never met the toddler, but when he read about her rare cancer, he decided to list his three service medals on eBay. His medals had a top bid over of $700 and the auction ends on Friday.
