(Pennsylvania) - A mystery couple is paying customer's tabs at a local Applebee's. The restaurant's assistant manager Bernie Lewis, knows who the couple is, but has promised not to release their identity. Most recently the couple picked up a tab for 16 people celebrating a birthday!
The couple own a local business and the man told the restaurant the reason he pays other people’s checks is because, “I grew up poor and now I’m not.”
