Good News (11/7) - Some Stores in Puerto Rico are Still Paying Employees

Hurricane Maria swept through Puerto Rico on September 20 and much of the island still has no electricity.   Unfortunately that means many businesses are still closed, but TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and HomeGoods are continuing to pay their employees even though their stores are not open.

A spokesperson says, “We believe it is the right thing to do under these circumstances.”
