(Maine) – An anonymous couple stopped by a Toys R Us and paid off $10,000 of layaway orders. It paid about 100 layaway accounts.

(Portland, Oregon) - According to the Salvation Army's reps, someone left $10-thousand in a kettle outside a Portland grocery store. The donor is still anonymous but the money will stay within the Portland area to help local citizens.
