Good News (12/12) - Stranger Donates House to Family

(Pennsylvania) – Last week, 10-year veteran firefighter JJ Lyons was out hunting with his family when he got a call that his own house was on fire. The fire caused about $400,000 in damage and left JJ, his wife, and 5- year-old daughter homeless before the holidays.

Joe Miller heard about the Lyons family and even though he had never met them he wanted to help out. Joe’s mother recently passed away and he was planning on selling her home, but instead he gave it to the Lyons family! JJ’s fellow firefighters helped him clean and re-do the carpet in the new home to make it ready for his family to move in.
