Good News (4/19) Volunteers Renovate Childhood Home For Homeless Vet

U.S. Air Force veteran Michael Malone has been living in a center for homeless vets in Indianapolis. He inherited his childhood home from his mother after she died, but the house was in desperate need of repairs. He didn't have a way to pay for them.

So a team of more than 60 volunteers from the Home Depot Foundation and the Hoosier Veterans Assistance Foundation has been fixing up the home for him.  Renovations are almost complete Michael will be able to move in soon.

"This just blows me away that there are people that are really truly that kind. It absolutely restores my view of humanity."
