Thanks to a new facial recognition system, almost 3,000 missing children have been identified.The system was started by a police department in India on a trial basis. It was tested by scanning the faces of about 45,000 children living in children’s homes.
During the testing phase between April 6 - April 10….2,930 kids were recognized as missing children. Efforts are under way to reunite them with their families.
