The rescue mission began earlier this week when Deputies Chapman and Montanez from the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station in California got a call about a road hazard. When they arrived on the scene, they found that the road hazard was a woman in a broken-down electric wheelchair.
The woman explained that her wheelchair had run out of battery. She didn’t want to leave it there and it was too heavy to lift into the patrol car, so Deputy Montanez pushed the woman and her wheelchair back to her house one mile away.
