(Alabama) Teachers in Huntsville, Alabama are pooling their sick days to help another teacher and his wife after their baby daughter was diagnosed with cancer.
David’s wife Megan and little Kinsley have to travel 100 miles for her to receive treatment, so they spend a lot of time away from David. After a local TV news station did a story about the family, a sick day drive was started at his school and word spread to neighboring schools. Teachers and administrators donated more than 100 sick days so David can take time off to be with his baby whenever his family needs him to.
