#GoodNews: Homeless Student Is Valdectorian, Gets Millions in Scholarships

Tupac Mosley just graduated from high school in Tennessee as his class Valedictorian. He has been accepted to 50 colleges, and has been offered over $3 million dollars in scholarships. Oh, and he’s homeless! His father passed away recently and his family was evicted from their home. Tupac moved from home to home over the last several months of his high school career, staying with different people and non-profit organizations.

During his valedictorian speech last week, he thanked those who encouraged him on his academic journey, and encouraged other students not to succumb to hard circumstances. “Never let your current situation….be a mountain that you can't climb.”

Tupac will be attending Tennessee State University in the fall and major in electrical engineering.
