> Utah's Department of Transportation will launch a program next year that will charge electric car drivers for every mile they use the roads. The “road use” charge will address declining gas tax revenues due to more electric cars on the road. The proposal would be to charge $0.015 per mile to electric and hybrid vehicles - $150 for every 10,000 miles.
