#GoodNews: Stranger Drives Woman's Dog To Be With Her in Final Days

After being given a terminal health diagnosis, and being told she only has months to live, a Minnesota woman had to move to Washington state, where a friend could help care for her. Unfortunately, she was forced to leave her dog, Bailey, behind. Bailey is a pug mix with a “smoosh” nose who would have problems breathing at high altitudes, so the airline could not allow the dog to make the trip. In tears, the woman could do nothing but drop Bailey off at a local veterinary clinic and say goodbye. Ryan Chukuske with Spot’s Last Stop Canine Rescue heard the woman’s story and decided to drive Bailey across the country so her owner can spend her last days with her furry friend.
