Jessica is a single mom from Wisconsin. She entered the foster care system when she was 12 and stayed in the system until she turned 18. She spent many holidays wishing for a family, so when she finally had a home of her own, she decided to foster kids who were enduring the same struggles she had as a child. She has 2 children of her own, and decided to take in 6 foster children a few years ago. 4 are biological brothers, and the other 2 boys are related.
Jessica says, "I went through my 20s thinking I didn’t really need a family. But I did. They give me purpose.” Earlier this week, Jessica adopted all 6 boys.
