An officer who died in the line of duty always said he wanted his son to inherit his truck, and now it’s happening thanks to support from the community.
Tony Zeppetella was killed back in 2003, when his son, Jakob, was a baby. He’s now old enough to drive, but the 1998 truck was in need of a lot of repairs. Local mechanics and body shops donated their time and services to work on the truck so it’s ready for Jakob to drive. Corey Terry with Terry's Auto Body said the total work done on the truck would have cost somewhere near $10,000.
