Chiefs Super Bowl Champ Pays Adoption Fees For Dozens of Pets

After the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl, defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi celebrated by making “snow angels” in the confetti on the field. Now he’s doing something to help animals in need - he will pay the adoption fees for every single dog up for adoption at all KC Pet Project location. There are 91 dogs currently up for adoption, and fees at the Kansas City Pet Project normally run about $150.

During the regular season, Nnadi paid the adoption fee for one hard-to-adopt dog after each Chiefs victory. All of the dogs in that program have found homes.
