Queen + Adam Lambert Honor Frontline Workers With "You Are The Champions"

While observing social distancing in their respective homes, Adam Lambert and Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor synced up for a quarantined quarantuned version of "We Are The Champions."

The three musicians shot video of themselves performing the classic Queen hit, with Lambert making a point you sing the lyric "you are the champions" on the second repetition of the chorus.

Queen later added live bassist Neil Farclough to the version, officially titled it "You Are the Champions" and made it available for digital download. Proceeds raised from the track will go to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization, powered by the United Nations Foundation.

May has been especially active on social media since Queen + Adam Lambert's European tour was abruptly halted in France in early-March due to the virus crisis.

The guitarist has shared everything from his concerns over Britain's handling of the pandemic, his increasing belief in his new vegan diet and semi-regular guitar clinics via Instagram.

May has also admitted that his activity online is partly an attempt to balance his depressive tendencies with positivity, like collaboration and music, despite his isolation.
