A high school in Alabama just had their graduation, and while cleaning up after the event, teacher Dominique Moore noticed that one grad was sitting alone. He asked “where are your people” and the teen said “Nobody’s here.” Dominique took the student to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and drove him home. He says he didn’t ask for details about why his family wasn’t there. "I didn't care. At that moment, I just wanted to celebrate him.”
But that’s not the end.
Dominique has been driving the teen to his new job and wants to help him get a car and a place to live. He posted about it on social media and included his Cash App handle ($mooredaeducator) in case anyone wanted to help. Over $5,000 has come in so far.
Dominique says, "We take people and life for granted. Even though we have it bad, in this moment it shows that mankind is good."
