Riverton residents and neighbors are invited to watch a special patriotic firework presentation on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 9:11 p.m. as part of the Riverton Remembers 9/11 event. Fireworks will be launched simultaneously from three different locations in Riverton so residents can see at least one of the displays near their home. The show will be synced with a special music soundtrack broadcasting live on 94.1 KODJ that will feature messages to help us remember those we lost in the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.
Firework launch locations in Riverton:
- Centennial Park
- Monarch Meadows Park
- Riverton City Park
Spectators are encouraged to watch in areas near the launch locations; however, NO SPECTATORS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE LAUNCH LOCATION PARKS OR ASSOCIATED PARKING LOTS DUE TO THE SIZE OF THE REQUIRED FIREWORK FALL OUT ZONE. The size of the fireworks will allow them to be seen from several blocks away from launch locations as long as you have an open view of the night sky!
