An animal shelter in Atlanta, GA has a homeless man to thank for saving their animals after a fire broke out at the facility.
The shelters owner was out picking up supplies when the fire started. Keith Walker rushed in and rescued several cats and dogs. Keith is homeless and the shelter often provides food and shelter to his dog.
“I was really scared to go in there with all that smoke. But....My dog is my best friend, and I wouldn't be here without him, so I knew I had to save all those other dogs."
To thank Keith for being a hero, a GoFundMe was set up with a goal of $5,000. Over $82,000 has been raised so far!
