An Arizona teenager has made an entire school happy with his act of kindness.
It all started when Sam Bregman bought a new pair of shoes for a kid at school. Then he decided he wanted to help more kids. So he started fundraising and partnered with the nonprofit “Shoes That Fit” to make it happen. Sam was able to raise $15,000 and bought 450 pairs of shoes. Every child at a local elementary school received a pair of shoes and 5 pairs of socks.
“These students are in a lower socioeconomic area so shoes are something that can relieve financial burden sometimes and just put a smile on everyone's face," Sam says. “I learned how much sneakers can truly impact someone’s life.”
Sam hopes to help out a second school. If you’d like to help make that happen you can donate here >> https://connect.clickandpledge.com/Organization/shoesthatfit/campaign/shoesforchandler
