> Solitude Postpones Opening Day

You’ll have to wait a bit longer to hit the slopes at Solitude. The resort has pushed back its opening day from this Friday to November 23rd. Park City announced last week it would reschedule its opening. Alta says it will open next Wednesday, November 24th.

Covid Testing by Mail in Utah 

Utah residents living in rural areas who can’t easily get to a COVID-19 testing site now have a new option. The Utah Department of Health will offer a free mail-based PCR test. The test is shipped and results come back within about 4 days. Those who are interested can register on the department of health’s website.

A Utah billionaire plans to give away nearly all his wealth to help others. Jeff T. Green is the CEO and chairman of The Trade Desk, and is worth an estimated 6-billion dollars, according to Forbes. Green announced that he signed The Giving Pledge, and will give away more than 90% of his wealth to help bring happiness to others. In his statement, Green says he hopes to make education more accessible.
