Ebony Johnson works the drive-thru at an Ohio Dunkin’ donuts. Over the last few years, she’s become close with one of her customers, Suzanne Burke. Nearly every morning, Suzanne would see Ebony in the drive-thru and was impressed with Johnson’s customer service.
So when she recently noticed that Ebony wasn’t working her usual shift, Suzanne reached out and learned that she had and her 3 kids had been evicted from their home.
Suzanne wanted to help Ebony, so she contacted a few organizations to not only find her a home, but had it fully furnished. Then she surprised Ebony and her kids with their new home.
Ebony was in tears. “I’m just so thankful we’re back in our home. The Lord really looked out for me because I kept praying and saying, 'Could I be at home before Christmas?'”
