#GoodNews: Grocery Store Cashier Saves Customer’s Life

While shopping at Lee’s Marketplace in Smithfield UT, 55-year-old Bob Lewis suffered a heart attack. 17-year-old Ryan Zook jumped into action and used CPR to help keep Bob alive until first responders arrived.

A fellow store employee who witnessed the event says “Ryan was a hero and he did everything right. It was amazing to see how cool, calm and collected he was.”

Bob was taken to the intensive care unit where doctors told him that if Ryan hadn’t jumped in when he did, he would have died.
