A British aeronautical company is helping first responders reach difficult locations in record time - with jet pack suits!
The 1,000 horsepower jet suits have thrusters on the pilot's back and two small jet engines on each arm. After just six days training, a paramedic flew to the top of a mountain wearing one of their suits. It took him only 3 minutes and 30 seconds. It would taken over 1 hour on foot, and the poor visibility would have grounded a helicopter.
