#GoodNews: Restaurant Chef Learns ASL For Deaf Customers 

Melissa and her husband are deaf. They were able to score a very hard to get reservation to a Japanese restaurant and emailed ahead of time to let the staff know they’d be coming in. 

Most restaurant experiences involve writing everything down, which takes twice as long. But this time when the couple arrived, they were greeted in sign language! And that’s not all. The restaurant chef had learned how to sign the entire menu.
