Rain or shine, Walter Spano helps keep the students of Payne Junior High School in Phoenix safe as the school’s crossing guard.
Mark Schneider found out that Walter hadn’t seen his son and granddaughter in three years. First it was due to the pandemic, but now it’s because of finances, so Mark started a GoFundMe page to give Walter a big Christmas gift.
The page has raised over $2,500 so far. Mark surprised Walter with the money on Monday.
