Drew Barrymore just posted a throwback photo of her and Adam Sandler on the set of 50 First Dates in 2004, and fans cannot get enough of the sweet snap.
The moment was so memorable that even Lucy could not forget, but Barrymore posted it to Instagram just in case. The nostalgic snap, perfectly captioned "throwing it back," depicts the longtime friends posing together on a bench while filming the beloved early 2000s rom-com (specifically the "Forgetful Lucy" scene).
Barrymore sits cuddled up in a blanket with a drink in her hand beside Sandler in a classic Hawaiian-printed button-up holding a ukulele. The silver screen duo, who starred side-by-side in The Wedding Singer and Blended, smiled as they enjoyed a quiet moment on set.
Fans expressed their love for the sentimental snap (and the timing of the post), commenting, "You can’t drop this pic and act like this isn’t the scene that made everyone believe in love," and "50 First Dates has been a part of my Valentine’s Day tradition for the past 8 years 🥹...my favorite movie."
In November, the Never Been Kissed actress revealed that she caught her daughters having a 50 First Dates movie night with Sandler's daughters and could not believe her eyes.
"I was like, 'Why are you guys watching this? Don't you get enough of me and your dad?'"
