4 Things That Should Not Go On Your Resumé

It's been a while since I put together a resumé. I haven't really done many since I left college. I've been lucky enough to have my dream job talking to you every day ever since.

But Buzzfeed has an interesting article about resumé writing and some things that aren't needed anymore. These are kind of obvious now but some of these are traditional lines to put on a resumé.

1.Your full address. Yeah, probably just an email address and phone number at this point. City and state might be a good idea.

2.An objective statement. Nobody cares. Probably a waste of time at this point.

3.Your entire work history. Just list the experience that's relevant to the job you're applying for.

4.The statement "references available upon request". They know. And it's a formality and space filler.
