For the longest time, I wasn't taking cash anywhere I went. And then I took some cash on a vacation. I didn't spend very much of it and I keep taking a little bit every time I leave the house. And guess what? I STILL HAVE THE SAME AMOUNT SITTING IN MY DRAWER.
According to SWNS, some of the top things we still use cash for include:
- Small purchases like gum and candy
- Minor Emergencies - the unexpected household stuff that we might need money for
- Public Transportation
- Groceries. That one seems odd because I never know how much I'm going to spend
- Entertainment
- Clothing
