When 18-year-old Antonio Gwynn Jr. saw the damage from protests in his hometown of Buffalo, New York, he grabbed a broom, bought some trash bags and started cleaning the streets by himself. He started at 2 a.m. and didn’t stop cleaning for 10 hours.
When word spread of how Antonio single-handedly took action, his community responded. Matt Block saw the story on the news and decided to give Antonio his prized 2004 red Mustang convertible.
Local businessman Bob Briceland learned of Matt’s gift, and decided to extend a year of free auto insurance coverage through his insurance agency.
Medaille College in Buffalo offered him a full scholarship where he plans to study business starting this fall.
