Aunt Jemima syrup is getting a BIG makeover. Quaker Oats says the company recognizes that "Aunt Jemima's origins are based on a racial stereotype." They’ll be changing the name and removing the current image. The company says it’s an effort “to make progress toward racial equality.”

Utilities company Pacific Gas and Electric pleaded guilty on Tuesday to 84 counts of involuntary manslaughter after admitting that their equipment caused the devastating 2018 wildfire in Paradise, California. 90% of the community was destroyed. They have also agreed to pay billions of dollars in settlements to victims.
